Our mission is to develop the best voice experience for the car, so we can all better utilize our time in the car.  The core of our technology is based on cutting edge audio-visual algorithms that use a video feed from a camera facing the speaker. Analyzing the speaker’s face enables us to enhance their audio and get better speech recognition results in difficult noise conditions, just as a human would better understand a speaker if they can see their faces while listening to them. Our company is based in Tel Aviv and was founded by Zohar Zisapel (a highly successful entrepreneur who’s been involved in many of the high profile automotive companies in Israel such as Argus, Innoviz, Hailo, and others), Roy Baharav (81, Startups, Google) and Eyal Shapira (Talpiot, 81, Startups). Another team member is Prof.Israel Cohen from the Technion, who is a world expert in Speech Enhancement. We completed a $4.5 million seed round, and we are set to demonstrate the world’s first audio-visual commercial solution for speaker separation and speech enhancement, planning complete the development of our first product, launch sales and expand our current team.

Description

We are looking for a Deep Learning Researcher with a huge passion for researching new and challenging technologies. It’s an amazing opportunity to be a part of our solution and make the speech recognition experience in the car and other environments more satisfying for consumers and enable the introduction of more complex and sensitive capabilities by OEMs.

As a Deep Learning Applied Researcher, you would work on our audio-visual speech enhancement and recognition algorithms. This involves exploring different audio-visual DL based algorithms from the most recent academic work. You will improve them and sometimes create new methods altogether.

Requirements

  • MSc in CS/EE or equivalent from a well known university
  • PhD in Computer Science or equivalent – Advantage
  • Hands-on Deep Learning experience in Computer Vision or Speech
  • Familiarity with Deep Learning frameworks
  • Fluency in Python and Linux Environment , Fluency in C/C++ – Advantage
  • Experience with Speech or Audio Processing – Advantage
  • Experience with optimizing algorithms and models for low resource embedded environments – Advantage
  • Passion for your work and domain
  • Team player with great communication skills
