Configuration Team Lead

We are seeking a Configuration Team Lead to manage and mentor a remote team responsible for complex menu configurations across our client base. The primary focus of this role is on driving operational excellence – identifying issues, optimizing workflows, and ensuring scalable processes – while maintaining enough technical expertise to support and guide the team effectively.


In this role you will:

  • Lead and coach a remote configuration team, setting goals and ensuring accountability.
  • Troubleshoot and analyze configuration issues, workflows, and processes, escalating when needed.
  • Design and refine tools and processes to make recurring tasks more efficient and consistent.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Project Management, Scale, Development, Operations, etc.) to provide transparency, feedback, and actionable insights.
  • Build a culture of knowledge sharing through documentation, knowledge base articles, and troubleshooting guides.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience leading and mentoring remote teams in a SaaS environment.
  • Strong background in optimizing and scaling processes for efficiency and reliability.
  • Solid troubleshooting skills across networking, Linux, cloud infrastructure, third-party integrations, and APIs.
  • Familiarity with Git, source control, Linux, and JSON files.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical issues clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience working with ticketing systems (e.g., Zendesk, ServiceNow, or similar).

    Advantages:

    • Experience with restaurant technologies and POS systems.
    • Scripting knowledge (Python or similar).
