About us

Hi Auto is the leading AI order taker for drive-thrus. Built for scale.

We partner with major quick-service restaurant brands across the US, UK, and New Zealand, and are operating in real time in approximately 1,000 locations.

We are seeking a Head of Product to join our company and lead the evolution of our core product at the intersection of UX, AI, and R&D.

This will be a senior individual contributor role, reporting to our CTO, and the first dedicated product leader at Hi Auto.

About the role

In this role, you will:

  • Own our product strategy and determine it together with our founders
  • Define and own core UX and product challenges, with a focus on improving guest experience and our customer (the restaurant operators) experience
  • Set and maintain a product roadmap, aligned with the strategy and technical constraints
  • Translate the roadmap into clear feature requirements for R&D including building functional mocks using AI where relevant
  • Own competitive analysis, identifying where we differentiate and where we must evolve
  • Improve foundational product capabilities, including:
    • Order-taking quality and accuracy
    • Menu flow
    • Voice experience and conversational design
  • Define and track product success metrics, including guest experience, transaction efficiency, labor impact, and menu time
  • Support ROI modeling and pricing strategy through data-driven analysis
  • Own product methodology, standards, and decision-making frameworks across teams

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in Product Management
  • Proven experience in at least two product roles, with at least one in a fast-paced startup environment.
  • Strong data analysis and analytical thinking skills
  • Solid understanding of business, unit economics, and trade-offs
